Privacy Policy

Account data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a display name. You may optionally add a profile avatar.

User-generated content: Forum posts, comments, votes, and any other content you submit are stored and associated with your account.

Newsletter: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address to send you updates about new dupes, restocks, and the monthly Dupe of the Month winner. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Usage data: We collect standard server logs including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics only.

• To send newsletter emails you've subscribed to
• To respond to support requests sent via our contact form
• To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
• To improve site performance and user experience through aggregate analytics

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences (such as light/dark theme). These are strictly necessary for the site to function.

We may use analytics tools (such as Vercel Analytics or similar) that set anonymous cookies to count page views and understand how users navigate the site. These do not track you across other websites.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.

Third-party embeds:Some pages display TikTok content. TikTok may set its own cookies when this content loads. We do not control TikTok's data practices — please refer to TikTok's own privacy policy.

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Your account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure.
• Vercel — our hosting provider. Serves the website and processes server logs.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information (email, profile) is deleted within 30 days. Content you posted (e.g. forum posts) may remain in an anonymised form.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Data portability (receive a copy of your data)

DupeHouse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll notify registered users by email.
